Superduper Quick Update!

Hi everyone!  It's been a while since my last update and I know everyone is most likely wondering where things are at.  :)  Everything is going great!  I approved the proofs for the deck last week and am waiting for the printer to send me photos of everything on the presses. I will forward you all pictures as soon as I have some to share.

I have everything set up in Backerkit and will be able to send out the surveys very soon.  Thank you so much for your patience with this! The survey has been on hold for a bit while I wait for photos of the tarot cloths and deck bags. My cloth/bag creator has had some unexpected interruptions in her work schedule which has delayed that process, but I'm confident that she will have everything to me this week. I have seen a couple of photos of the tarot cloths and they look awesome! 

I hope you are all doing absolutely amazing!  I will update you again very soon!

I am overwhelmed by all your positive feedback and support.  I know I keep saying it... but I am just so grateful for each and every one of you! Transforming all of my ideas, artwork, layouts and documents into a physical reality is so exciting and I can hardly wait to have all the items finished and in your hands. 

Final List of Stretch Goals

Here are the stretch goals we reached, so you can all expect these items to be included in your delivery when it's time to ship everything out:

• Matte coloured edges on the cards
• UV spot gloss on the box
• 3 die-cut Tarot of Oneness Stickers
• 2 4x6" postcards
• Custom-spread document
• Four additional cards to be added to the 80-card deck bringing it to a total of 84 cards.  I will share these designs very soon!  I am working at finalizing all the designs... and am almost ready to show you all.
• Two-sided bookmark with artwork from The Chariot and Death/Rebirth cards

What Happens Next?

Kickstarter is in the process of collecting pledges and in a couple of weeks, the funds will be released to me so we can begin the production journey.  Shipping fees will be charged via Backerkit.  I will provide more information regarding that process and what to expect once everything starts rolling. 

I'm working with Lisa @the.auld.spaewife to finalize the tarot cloths and bags.  It's so hard not to share our ideas... but I'm going to wait until we have official samples to take photos of.  They will be added to Backerkit so you can decide if you would like to add them to your package. :)

Production Update

I Hello everyone!  I have updates! :) 

Production

I have received the Kickstarter funds and am ready to start production!  I'm waiting on some paperwork from my printer.  Once it's signed, I will be forwarding all of the files to them so they can get to work. I will keep you posted as I receive updates from them.  All stretch goal items have been ordered and are already in production. I'm so excited!!!!

Additional Cards

I have finalized the additional four cards that I am adding to the deck.  I spent quite some time thinking about the themes illustrated in these cards and am very pleased to present them to you. I really wanted them to fit in with the energy of the deck. I have added additional pages to the guidebook that includes information on these cards so you will have everything you need to do readings for yourself and others.

Add-Ons

Tarot Cloths and Bags - Thank you all so much for your patience waiting for more details regarding these add-ons.  I have designed the custom fabric and will be offering two different tarot cloths.  One will feature softer colours, while the other one will be more vibrant.  My tarot cloth/bag creation partner is currently enjoying a well-deserved vacation.  As soon as she is back, we will be moving full steam ahead with these items.  Once we have photographs of all the cloths and bags, I will be adding them to Backerkit as add-ons.  The timing should work perfectly so they can be shipped to you as soon as the decks are printed and ready to go.

The Glow Oracle - This oracle deck will be available to add-on through Backerkit as well if you wish to snag a copy.

Tarot of Oneness - You will also have the option to add an additional tarot deck.

What's Next?

Within the next couple of weeks, I will be sending you an email that will come from Backerkit.  It will include a survey that will ask for your shipping information etc.  You will also have the opportunity to add other items if you wish.  This survey must be filled out.  It will include all of the information I will need to ship the finished products to you. :)  I will also be sharing a link to a pre-order page in the event you know  someone who missed the Kickstarter campaign.

Edging, Shipping, Stretch Goals, Add-Ons and more...

Hello everyone and welcome to those who have backed the Tarot of Oneness since the last update.  I appreciate you all so much!  It's been a little while since my last update so I thought I'd catch you up on a few things.

Edging

I've made a decision. It was a hard one as there are a couple of colours that I really loved for the edging of the deck.  As you all know, the artwork is very colourful, so I had a large palette to choose from.  Your input on the selection was truly invaluable. Thank you to everyone who took a moment to cast their vote. I read every comment and message and took all of your feedback to heart.  

My goal was to select a colour that worked beautifully with both the backs and fronts of the cards... and to pick a colour that I haven't seen on decks before.  I know it's not going to be everyone's first choice, but I feel very confident that you will love it when you finally have the deck in your hands! Drumroll please...

Stretch goals

We have surpassed another stretch goal! All backers will be receiving custom spreads that are perfect for reading with the Tarot of Oneness. 

Also super exciting... we are within $500 of reaching the next stretch goal which is four additional cards for the deck.  In anticipation of potentially reaching this goal, I've been working on some card designs.  I will share images of them in my next update.  I admit it, this is my favourite stretch goal and I have all my fingers and toes crossed that it happens!!! 

Guidebook

My next update will also include sample pages from the guidebook so you can see what it's going to look like!  I'm been busy adding the final touches and can't wait to share it with you!

Shipping

I thought this would be a good time to make sure you all know what to expect regarding the shipping process and costs.  It will cost $20 to ship a single deck and $30 to ship two in the same package. If you've selected an option that includes three decks, then the shipping fee will be $37.  These costs are shown here in Canadian dollars and are the same regardless of where the decks are being shipped. To figure out how much it will cost, please check an online currency converter so you know exactly what to expect.

Shipping funds will be collected via Backerkit.  If you're not familiar with this tool, no worries, I'll keep you updated about how the process works as we move along.  Backerkit is the service I use to help me with the fulfillment end of things. When the Kickstarter campaign ends, you will receive an email from Backerkit that will request that you fill out a survey.  This won't happen immediately... but I will let you know in advance that you will be receiving the email.  This survey gathers information including your current address and any add-ons you would like to include.  It is also where you will be charged shipping.  
* Please note: Wholesale backers will be charged shipping in Kickstarter.  You will still be required to fill out the Backerkit survey so I have your address etc.  when we reach that phase of the project.

Add-Ons

I don't have much to add regarding this except to tell you that I'm still working away at designs for the deck bag and tarot cloth.  I will announce these with photos when we have samples ready to show you. :).  They will be available to add-on through Backerkit once the campaign ends.

Another Stretch Goal Unlocked!

Well today is off to a great start! The sun is shining and it feels like summer in my neck of the woods. Also exciting... I woke up to the news that we have reached another stretch goal.  All backers will receive a 3" removable vinyl sticker featuring the bunny from the Spirit of Cups. The quote that circles the bunny is a beautiful message from Eckhart Tolle - "Love is the recognition of oneness in a world of duality."

The Glow Oracle Add-On

I also wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who has included The Glow Oracle as an add-on. I have increased the quantity available to Tarot of Oneness backers so if you tried to add it and couldn't, you will be able to now. 

Launching this deck last year was such an incredible experience for me. I loved drawing each and every card, and absolutley adored learning about the creatures in the deck. If you aren't familiar with what The Glow Oracle has to offer, please check out my previous Kickstarter campaign.  Every creature in the deck has a unique relationship with light whether they are bioluminescent, iridescent or bio-fluorescent.
